Dear Reader,
Well, it's been over a month since I've blogged, and I miss these posts to you. Spring has sprung, and with the changing of the season and the warmer temperatures (which are entirely welcome), my time is spent outside. A lot. My son cannot get his fill of riding his bike, driving his Cozy Coupe, and swinging his bat for some t-ball practice. (He even explains to me, "Mom, I'm a good baseball player." It appears that self confidence is not an issue for our son.)
I still have stories to share. They will come soon in future posts. Here's the basic rundown though of our life right now:
1. My husband is an all-star once again. Never a dull moment for his engineering endeavors during springtime. Seriously. I am thankful that he rather likes the work into which he pours so much time and effort.
2. Our family enjoyed the celebration of Easter and my father-in-law's 60th birthday within the same week. We've also appreciated some very enjoyable moments with my parents.
3. My son and I have taken in many a playdate lately, getting around town quite a bit. Bugs. Butterflies. Oceans and fish. The variety is good for both of us.
And did I mention that we play outside? Life is going nicely. My husband has started referring to our son's age as "almost three" instead of two and a half. Time is on the move.
Sincerely,
Abi
