Since last I wrote (a month ago today - sorry!), I've turned an age which I plan to maintain for a while - 29. I like odd years in my life, and so I'm looking forward to seeing what the year has in store.
My son helped plan my birthday celebration this year. He picked out two candles at the party store - a "25" and a "50." With some encouragement from my mom, he returned the "50." Thanks, Mom. (I could stay "25" for a while as well.)
For lunch on my birthday, we enjoyed some Asian cuisine. I loved it. Great food. My favorite people. And my son even tried eating with chopsticks for the first time - what determination this boy possesses! Here is what my fortune cookie revealed about the year ahead:
