Dear Reader,
My husband and I love Sunday mornings. We are usually able to sleep a little longer on Sundays as we allow our son to stay up a little later on Saturday night, and the church service we attend starts mid-morning.
A week ago Sunday, my husband and I woke up to our little boy giggling from behind the white linen curtains that hang in our bedroom. Our son then came out from behind the curtains singing his favorite television show theme song (The Wonder Pets) with dance moves, went back behind the curtain for a moment, and then proceeded to take his curtain call bow. What entertainment to begin a Sunday morning!
These curtains have been used in many a game of hide-and-seek and now have become an excellent setting for theatre as well. Being linen, they are in need of a good ironing now and then but have miraculously managed to stay white with many moments of play over the past year.
A three-year-old imagination is a wonder to behold.
