Yesterday my husband entered a new decade in his life. He's now thirty, and I think he actually looked forward to this milestone. I still have a few more months to enjoy my twenties (and may say I'm 29 for even longer!), and I think both of us look back on our twenties with a lot of fondness. Some major highlights include:
a wedding proposal and engagement
our wedding day and the weddings of so many of our friends
buying our first home and completely renovating it
(with family and friends very willing to help!)
establishing ourselves professionally and meeting some wonderful colleagues
the arrival of our son and his ongoing delightful presence in our lives
moving to another nice home with great neighbors
a few fun parties to mark engagements, new babies, birthdays, and moves
travel to see family, to attend weddings, to refresh
our wedding day and the weddings of so many of our friends
buying our first home and completely renovating it
(with family and friends very willing to help!)

And there are the moments in between the listed items which often involved lovely times with you, our family and friends, which make the everyday life equally as exceptional as the big banner days. We are indeed so blessed.
