Dear Reader,
I have been debating about preparing this post for a bit of time now. You may have noticed that my posts about decorating, crafting, and the like have been fewer in the past months. I haven't stopped posting about these subjects, but I decided to start an additional blog for them - Sincerely Abi... Inspired.
This blog spin-off began with my need for order and organization (not a big surprise to those of you who know me!) I have always wanted this blog - Sincerely Abi - to center on my own thoughts and experiences (often with much emphasis on the development of my son.) I also wanted to write about crafts, decorating, cooking, etc. When I started an Etsy shop early last summer, I quickly decided that a blog to complement the shop would provide that space for talking about inspiring Etsy shops, posting weekly recipes, discussing my latest craft endeavors, and sharing occasional decorating ideas. It's been a little over half a year, and I just hit my 100th post milestone, so I think this other blog is here to stay.
I promise that this will be my only reference to Sincerely Abi... Inspired though. I hope that this post about it provides a bit of explanation to you (and a helpful point of reference for me in remembering how this all worked out.)
The first time I met my then-boyfriend's father (now my father-in-law), he asked me if I had any hobbies. My response was to mention how much I liked going out for coffee with friends and wondered if that counted. By now I would say that I've found an outlet in crafting - and blogging - which is indeed a great hobby.
Sincerely,
Abi
